Aaron Kuntz, founder and President

Consumer Credit Marketing was founded by Aaron Kuntz who is the former-founder of MarketerNet and has been in the direct marketing industry for over 14 years. Aaron started his career at Experian, Inc. where he worked with the first subprime mortgage lenders utilizing consumer credit data. Aaron also managed relationships with Dell Financial, AutoNation and H&R Block.

Aaron has vast experience helping financial services companies improve profitability. While at Experian, In the mid-nineties, he was a pioneer in helping mortgage bankers and brokers harness the power of pre-approved credit for direct marketing through direct mail and telemarketing. At MarketerNet, Aaron helped the first mortgage companies to utilize consumer credit data from credit bureaus, combined that with real estate and demographic data and offered it to small to mid-sized clients at affordable prices and without significant financial investment. Other providers required huge ongoing investments in the millions of dollars annually.

In 1999, Aaron started MarketerNet, a company that specialized in creating customized direct marketing databases in the for industry segments within the financial services and automotive industries in an online automated system. MarketerNet was Experian’s largest credit marketing reseller from 2004 to 2007. MarketerNet was also an Inc. 500 fastest growing company in 2005 and 2006 ranking 54 and 251 respectively. In April of 2007, Aaron left MarketerNet to pursue several start up opportunities including Consumer Credit Marketing, Inc.

Aaron graduated from Northern Illinois University with a M.S. in Finance.









Oscar Marquis, owner and General Counsel

Oscar Marquis is a partner with the Washington D.C. law firm of Oldaker, Biden and Belair. He is recognized as an expert on privacy and fair information practices, including the development of company policies governing the use and distribution of public and non-public data and the use of customer information. He has helped clients with the development and implementation of procedures for compliance with laws such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley financial privacy regulations and other United States and international privacy laws and directives. He has also worked with financial institutions to help them comply with state and federal credit and collection laws. In addition, he has represented information services companies and users of consumer information before various regulatory agencies, and serves as an expert witness in various lawsuits involving consumer information practices.

Mr. Marquis served as General Counsel of Trans Union LLC, one of the three national consumer reporting agencies, for over 20 years. At Trans Union, Mr. Marquis was responsible for all of the company's legal, government and public affairs. He served on the company's executive council and participated in major strategic decisions and business initiatives. Mr. Marquis also served a three-year term on the Federal Reserve Board's Consumer Advisory Council. The Council advises the Board on the exercise of its responsibilities under the Consumer Credit Protection Act and on other matters involving consumer financial services. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Consumer Information Research Council and MicroBilt Corporation.

Mr. Marquis is a frequent speaker and author on privacy, credit reporting and other information management topics. He has testified before Congress and legislatures of many states on privacy and credit reporting issues, and has appeared on CNN and Nightline.

Mr. Marquis is based in Chicago, Illinois.  Mr. Marquis graduated from Northwestern University and received his JD from the University of Illinois, College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Illinois.
